Hi I’m Jessica, it’s nice to meet you! I’ve studied Psychology for over a decade and believe it’s a privilege to do this work. Through both personal and clinical experience I’ve witnessed first hand the positive changes that come from the effort of self assessment, reflection, and desire for change.
As a clinician, I approach therapy from a holistic perspective. Often, clients seek out therapy because they are struggling with some aspect of their mental health, and want tangible tools for change and relief. It’s very easy to overlook all the different parts of our lives that impact our mental health. In our first few sessions together, we will take a comprehensive dive into your life and inner world. This is essential in order to truly individualize a care plan. When it comes to application, we’ll work from a variety of therapeutic modalities but most importantly, I first aim to build a trusting relationship with you – the person sitting across from me.
I love connecting with people and hearing their stories. I believe we’re all having our own human experience on this planet and comparison truly is the thief of joy. Oh and yes, I always want to see the picture of your pet!
