About Me

Hi, I’m Jessica and it’s very nice to meet you!

The who: First things first, I practice therapy the old school way, without the use of AI. My approach is all about getting back to the art of being human. As a clinician, I approach mental health from a holistic perspective which simply means I consider all the different segments of life that impact mental health functioning.

The why: If you pause to notice, almost everything now is automated for efficiency and convenience, and the experience of human relation is what makes therapy so sacred. As we continue to move further into an ever increasing virtual world, I take the responsibility of connection very seriously. Therapy with me looks like slowing down, pouring effort into yourself, and learning to implement skills that actually improve your quality of life. Yes, therapy is an investment, but one that’s worth it. After all, your longest relationship on this earth will be the one you have with yourself. You may as well make it a good one and there’s never a wrong time to learn how.

The how: Goals of therapy are collaborated on. You decide what’s important and what you’d like to achieve through our work together, and I bring the clinical expertise and tools to help you move closer to that achievement. Throughout the process I facilitate self exploration to help you gain insight as to why you have developed certain thoughts, patterns, and beliefs. This unveils the bigger picture and helps you piece together the fragmented parts of your life story. This is essential because making real change begins with awareness and understanding.

I love connecting with people and hearing their stories. I believe in the golden rule and leaving things better than you found them. Oh and yes, I always want to see the picture of your pet!
