Depression steals the joy from life and leaves you feeling numb and hopeless. Anxiety paralyzes with feelings of fear and overwhelm. ADHD can make it impossible to focus and stay on top of the daily grind. Not enough sleep throws your whole body off balance, and the stress that comes from modern day life is enough to make anyone question “How am I supposed to live like this?”

We often get into the habit of living our lives on autopilot; going through the motions and doing things the same way simply because that’s how it’s always been done. I like to work with clients in a way that teaches increased awareness. My aim is to have you learn to recognize your own strengths and limitations. By recognizing and challenging thoughts, we have the power to shift our perception of ourselves and our lives. When we change our relationship with our emotions, we gain control over our feelings and how we show up in our relationships. Through mindfulness and evidence-based techniques, I will work with you to not only identify where you’d like to be, but to actually make progress towards those goals.

Over the years I’ve had the honor of working with clients through a wide variety of different mental health conditions. I’m devoted to helping people understand that they hold more power than they realize. I teach skills such as stress reduction, prioritization and task management, acceptance, fear and anxiety reduction, sleep hygiene, and education on life transitions. So many things in life can be altered, changed, and reshaped with the right tools and support.
